1. What is Generative wallet?

It's your own BTC wallet built on your Metamask that can receive and send inscriptions and BTC. Only you can sign on Metamask to process a transaction and the derived key is not saved in the browser's local storage.

2. Is Generative wallet safe?

The derived key is only temporarily available in memory at the time of signing the message or approving the transaction. Not more than a few seconds. It is not saved in the browser's local storage. Then, every time you sign a transaction, you must confirm with Metamask.

Safety is the top priority here.

3. Is Metamask required to launch a collection or mint?

Yes, it is required. Fortunately, you still can choose to receive inscriptions in another wallet later if you want

4. How to export the private key of the Generative wallet?

Please go to Wallet -> Settings -> Wallet -> Export private key.

5. Can I transfer inscriptions in Generative wallet to another wallet?

Yes, you can.

6. Do I have to send a few Sats to the address I have on Generative to cover gas fee?

You do not need to send Sats to cover the gas fee if your transferring inscription has enough Sats (value) to cover the network fees. Otherwise, you must add some Sats to your Generative wallet to cover the gas fee.

7. What happens if I transfer BTC to my Generative wallet?

It will be credited to your Account balance that you can use to mint directly on Generative or cover the network fee to transfer inscriptions out.

8. Are NFTs safe when I transfer BTC out from Generative wallet?

Yes, you can transfer BTC from your Generative wallet to outside wallets. The NFTs in the Generative wallet are still safe.
