It's your own BTC wallet built on your Metamask that can receive and send inscriptions and BTC. Only you can sign on Metamask to process a transaction and the derived key is not saved in the browser's local storage.
The derived key is only temporarily available in memory at the time of signing the message or approving the transaction. Not more than a few seconds. It is not saved in the browser's local storage. Then, every time you sign a transaction, you must confirm with Metamask.

Yes, you can.
You do not need to send Sats to cover the gas fee if your transferring inscription has enough Sats (value) to cover the network fees. Otherwise, you must add some Sats to your Generative wallet to cover the gas fee.
It will be credited to your Account balance that you can use to mint directly on Generative or cover the network fee to transfer inscriptions out.
Yes, you can transfer BTC from your Generative wallet to outside wallets. The NFTs in the Generative wallet are still safe.
